Formed from a portion of the Red River that is located in Natchitoches Parish, Cane River is a 36-mile-long river which flows through Historic Downtown Natchitoches and throughout the surrounding areas.
Cane River Waterway Commission appreciates the public love for Cane River Lake and invites you to report any unsafe conditions, or lake problems that you see. We want you to feel comfortable working with us to make Cane River Lake the safest and most pleasurable place for recreation. Remember to boat safe, sober, and always wear your life jackets.
